Waste Not Wanted

Leeds City Council is planning to re-open the derelict waste transfer station between Evanston Avenue and Redcote Lane, next to the Leisure Park. Residents may remember that previous waste transfer site that afflicted the surrounding area with foul smells, plagues of flies and additional heavy traffic Kirkstall Road.
